Library Room Reservation Form: Home

This form is for students, faculty, and staff to use to request a room reservation.

Library Spaces FAQ's

 

Room 100A. This study room located on the first floor in the ASC area is equipped with a computer and flat screen TV. This room is to be reserved for students practicing class presentations.
Room 100B. This study room is located on the first floor in the ASC area and is equipped with a TV, DVD/VCR player, and dry erase board. It may be reserved for students needing to watch a film for class purposes.
Room 100C. This study room is located on the first floor in the ASC area and is equipped with a table large enough for a small meeting to take place and a dry erase board.
Room 113. The library does not schedule the Spoede Study Studio for classes on a regular basis. The library will, however, allow reservations for one-time events at the discretion of the Director or the Public Services Librarian.
Room 112. The library schedules this room only for academic use requiring the computer equipment, not as general meeting space.
Room 204. The Registrar schedules certain small seminar classes in this room, and the library may schedule one-time events on rare occasions in this room. The library does not schedule ongoing classes in this room.
Room 100. In collaboration with Career Services, the library has dedicated Room 100 in the Livesay Learning Center as the Zoom Room, equipped with a computer and webcam to use for online meetings and interviews. This room will be available for students, faculty, and staff by reservation only. The idea was the brainchild of Dr. Daniel Gates, and came to fruition through the efforts of Luke Morris, Tim Shetter, IT services, and the library staff.

Please Note

  • If you submit a reservation request after business hours (M-F after 5:00 PM), the request may not be seen until 10:00 AM the next business day.
  • If you miss the reservation request deadline, you are still welcome to come into the library and use the space if it is not already in use by someone else, but there will be no guarantee that it will not already be in use.

To Reserve a Room or Locking Study Carrel

To reserve a room or a locking study carrel in the Library, you need to contact Mr. Kevin Woodruff by phone (423) 775-7430 or by email (libdesk@bryan.edu). Include:

  • The space you would like to reserve
  • The times and dates needed
  • Whether or not it is a recurring request
  • Contact information for follow-up

You should receive a response within 48 hours (weekdays) to confirm your request or to let you know that the space is already reserved during that time. You may also contact Mr. Woodruff's email (kwoodruff3540@bryan.edu) if you have any questions.
